Weekly photo challenge: surprise
LONDON - I wasn’t expecting to see this pub when I walked down Victoria Street. It’s hugged by two skyscrapers and looks defiant to change. It was built in 1862 and has survived so much including the blitz. I’ve read that it’s popular with tourists and regulars from the Houses of Parliament.

What a great shot! How glorious and proud it looks. Anything that has survived the blitz, should be allowed to stand forever.
Yeah, totally agree.
Great photo. I’ll have to keep a lookout for that pub next time I’m in that area.
I think I’d also like to try it too.
