The birds
LONDON - My friend and I headed outside because this morning there was sun in London (not common in January). We’re based near St. James’s Park tube station so it’s a short walk before you stumble upon some great sites in London (Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, No.10 etc.). I love the location and it’s a treat to live here. I’m trying to make the most of the opportunity as it’s not for much longer.
We walked along Westminster Bridge, crossed over and headed towards the London Eye. There was a flurry of birds swooping and diving. They’re tame and unafraid to beg for food from people who sit on the benches alongside the river. Some people were feeding them (McDonalds’s scraps) and others were just simply trying to shoe them away.

The buildings are amazing – and I do love the little splashes of red clothing on the bridge.
Yeah, it’s a fun photo. I love the bird, caught in mid flight.
That pigeon looks like it has seen a bit of life!
LOL
Why won’t it last much longer??
My friend is heading back to the US and I’ll have to find a new place, again. Are you coming to visit?
