Ice ice baby
LONDON – I went to my first ice sculpture festival a few days ago in Canary Wharf. It had participants from around the world and attracted a fairly big crowd. The one thing I do remember from the event, it wasn’t the ice sculptures, it was that nothing melted that night because it was so darn cold!
Under the ground
LONDON - Took these in Canary Wharf, East London. It’s a very modern part of London and is home to many banks and financial institutions. A lot of people say that the area is dull and lacks personality or is for people with ‘new money’ who need to show off, but they’re so wrong. Canary Wharf has some cool architecture, most of it Universal in style, and beautiful sculptures. I for one like the underground there. It’s impressive, spacious and new.
